Utensils for the tea ceremony (chanoyu 茶の湯): chawan 茶碗 (tea-bowl), fukusa 帛紗 (piece of silk), chashaku 茶杓 (bamboo tea-spoon), chasen 茶筅 (bamboo tea-whisk), cha-ire 茶入 (tea-caddy) and habôki 羽箒 (feather brush). Inscription: Rikyû (name of the great tea master, sen no Rikyû 千利休 who lived from 1522 to 1591)
